Complexity and future: these are the key categories which guided the reflection of the volume Primaria oggi. Complessità e futuro, which are read in a different key within school and for school, especially in primary school, between initial teacher training, ongoing training and planning. The first part of the volume solicits theoretical visions and didactic-pedagogical alternative guidelines through the essays contained in it. The second part, on the other hand, offers a rich and dense set of experiences telling about a committed and vibrant school, which is constantly updated and renewed. The topics of classroom management, internship for initial teacher training, special educational needs, vertical curriculum and assessment of learning have been chosen as strategic vectors to rethink tomorrow's school starting today.

Paolo Federighi is Full Professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the University of Florence, where he is also director of the Department of Education and Psychology, and president of the five-year Master's Degree in Primary Education Sciences. He deals with Adult Education and Policies for Education and Training in adulthood. Among his latest publications: Adult and Continuing Education in Europe. Pathways for a Skill Growth Governance (2013). Vanna Boffo is Associate Professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the University of Florence, where she also teaches General Pedagogy in the five-year Master's Degree in Primary Education Sciences. She carries out researches on adult education, with particular reference to the care of interpersonal relationships and the problems of youth employability. Among her volumes: A Glance at Work. Educational Perspectives(Ed. 2012).
