Esercizi di composizione architettonica
  • Fabrizio Franco Vittorio Arrigoni,

The volume is a collection of projects drawn up by the students of the Architectural Design Laboratory I of the Faculty of Architecture of Florence. The drawings and models collected in the volume represent the first steps of a technical and cognitive analysis confirming the approach of a specific school and teaching methodology. In fact, these works reflect the preference for rationality over instinct, the choice of simplicity rather than overdetermination; the value of memory and of coherence, with respect to rich contexts; the importance of collective work with respect to individual expression.
