“Never Ending Learning”. Apprendimento permanente e invecchiamento attivo sono un antidoto al deterioramento cognitivo

  • Giovanna Cavarocchi

Auser is an Association of people who are actively engaged within their local communities, perceiving the territory not merely as a place of residence but as a foundation from which to build an alternative model of society through concrete, everyday actions. Our commitment to active ageing and lifelong learning is embodied in our voluntary service within Auser and materialises in community-based projects. The secular nature of our volunteering contributes an added value to Auser’s initiatives, where support for individuals, the inclusion of migrants, cultural activities, education, social tourism, and intergenerational dialogue arise not from paternalistic or charitable sentiments, but from a rigorous analysis of social needs and a commitment to providing supportive responses. These responses are offered without ever seeking to replace public services and are always grounded in adherence to Auser’s core values.
