  • Open Access Series
  •  Peer Reviewed

The “Documenti” collection is the oldest among those published by the Fondazione Istituto Internazionale di Storia Economica “F. Datini”. It was created with the aim of promoting sources of mainly mercantile origin. Launched in 1972 with Federigo Melis’s volume (Documenti per la storia economica dei secoli XIII-XVI, Firenze, Leo S. Olschki, 1972), it transcribes and contains meticulous analyses of archival materials, offering essential instruments for the study of medieval and modern society and economics. The series is currently published in conjunction with Firenze University Press.

Authors are cordially invited to submit proposals and/or full manuscripts to the series editor, angela.orlandi@unifi.it; direttore.scientifico@istitutodatini.it .

All books published in the series undergo peer review.

The series fully supports Open Access publishing as an ideal tool for sharing ideas and knowledge in every research field with an open, collaborative and non-profit approach. Open Access books allow the research community to achieve a high research impact as well as rapid dissemination in any editorial form.
