The essay reconstructs, through a dialogue with the three General Secretaries of NIdiL who held office between 2006 and 2026—Filomena Trizio, Claudio Treves, and Andrea Borghesi—the main challenges the organization faced, both in terms of representation and political action, during the turbulent 2010s of the twenty-first century.
