Drammaturgia is a scientific site that deals with issues related to the world of cinema, theatre, dance and music, and is constantly updated with new interventions, reports and reviews of the most interesting publications of the sector. The site, published with the contribution of the Master Degree Course in Planning and Management of Events and Businesses of Art and Entertainment, is recognised as a publication of high cultural value by the Italian Ministry of Art and Culture.

Siro Ferrone

University of Florence, Italy - ORCID: 0000-0003-3832-5145

Siro Ferrone is Full Professor of Dramaturgy and History of Actors and Acting at the University of Florence. He conceived and currently directs the research project Multimedia Archive of Italian Actors, and the History of Entertainment series for the publisher Le Lettere. Since 2008, he is also director of the annual magazine «Commedia dell'Arte». He is part of the scientific committee for the national edition of the works of Carlo Goldoni. He has taught in the following universities: Paris III and Paris VII, Georgetown University (Washington), Stockholm University, Autonomous University of Barcelona, University of Gerona. He is the author of studies on the Commedia dell'Arte, on Renaissance and Baroque entertainment, on the Italian eighteenth century and on the nineteenth century. In the field of contemporary theatre, he has reviewed shows and worked as an essayist, dealing mainly with Italian actors, directors and playwrights. His works are translated into French and German.
