“PO.MA. Museo” has the goal of creating a measurement model of the performance, of communicating its results to numerous stakeholders and of building a Technological Platform that welcomes the aforementioned model in its simplest formulation and of realising it in an IT language, so as to make it concretely usable. In summary, the Platform aims to “get to know and make the museum known”. These “Guidelines” are a tool aimed at facilitating its application by museums and of spreading among them a culture of accountability trying to overcome attitudes of mistrust towards the analysis of performance.
