Costruire per temi i paesaggi?

Esiti spaziali della semantica nei parchi tematici europei
  • Enrica Dall'Ara,

The contemporary diffusion of an approach to design proceeding by the assignment of themes, in designing places and individual architectures, makes it useful to think about the theme park, which represents the purest example. This specifically means questioning the relationship between natural element, architecture and symbol: it appears fraught with consequences to approach the subject from the viewpoint of the landscape architect, to wonder about what landscape it is and what it means to design it. It is a question of landscape architecture in its fullest sense and in its most extreme forms.
