The “Studi sul lavoro di cura – Studies on Care Work” Series meets the need to create a multidisciplinary and intradisciplinary publishing space dedicated to scientific reflection on formal and informal care work, in a comparative national and international perspective. The Series aims to overcome the fragmentation characterising a large part of the literature on care work, offering a space for dialogue among the various approaches and methods. This comparison allows us to
convey the complexity of the issue in its essential dimensions: the conditions and protection of workers, the quality and meaning of care relationships, and the resulting economic and organisational implications. Care work is now a pillar of social cohesion. The Series promotes the scientific and cultural recognition of care work, highlighting its contribution to collective well-being and sustainable development.
Authors are cordially invited to submit proposals and/or full manuscripts to the series editors, marialuisa.vallauri@unifi.it e william.chiaromonte@unifi.it. All books published in the series undergo peer review.
The series fully supports Open Access publishing as an ideal tool for sharing ideas and knowledge in every research field with an open, collaborative and non-profit approach. Open Access books allow the research community to achieve a high research impact as well as rapid dissemination in any editorial form.
