In 2019 the Department of Information Engineering in Florence began creating a museum of computers and related devices to illustrate the rapid evolution of computing technology. The exhibition includes historic microprocessors, memory systems, storage devices, early personal computers, and peripherals, highlighting developments from early architectures to modern systems and helping students understand the fundamental components of computers.
