Sweezy e Dobb. La transizione al capitalismo. E altri punti di distanza

  • Amos Cecchi

Cecchi reconstructs the debate between Sweezy and Dobb beginning with the controversy from the early 1950s regarding the transition from feudalism to capitalism; this divergence reveals deeper theoretical rifts. Hobsbawm regards Sweezy’s position (viewed favorably by world-systems theorists) as closer to that of Marx.
