The report describes and addresses patterns of discrimination in Spain’s care sector, primarily related to gender and migrant status. It examines legislation, collective agreements, case law and equality bodies’ activities. It highlights key issues such as pay equity, harassment, informal employment and migrant workers’ rights. It also considers how gender segregation and intersecting inequalities shape the structure and working conditions of the Spanish care sector.
