The chapter surveys contemporary visions of the ideal city across multiple dimensions: smart, creative, attractive, inclusive, safe and sustainable. Rather than a single utopian model, today's ideal city is plural and dynamic, shaped by citizens' diverse needs and technological possibilities. From the 15-minute city to the smart city and green urbanism, the chapter traces how utopian aspirations persist in contemporary urban policy and planning.
