This paper aims to analyse Alessandro Parronchi’s Nel bosco, highlighting the stylistic and narratological choices employed by the author to replicate the powerful impressions evoked by the Akira Kurosawa’s masterpiece Rashōmon, and to engage with the theme of the multi-perspective relativity of truth, the central tenet of the Japanese film.
