The volume inaugurates the book series I Quaderni di NeaVia. Studi sulla villa, as a part of the activities of the PRIN 2022 PNRR NeaVia Neapolitan villa. Antiquities and nature between Renaissance and Baroque. The project aims to study the villa in Naples between the late fifteenth and early eighteenth centuries, focusing primarily on its development during the viceroyal era.
