Il doping sportivo come problema bioetico nella filosofia dello sport

  • Francesco Zini

The essay analyses the phenomenon of sports doping from both a bioethical and biojurical point of view, within the broader philosophy of sport. The definition of doping and its qualification and classification is examined from the perspective of human enhancement, bringing out the negative and intrinsically contradictory nature of the abuse of doping substances to illicitly distort sporting results. Finally, the biojurical discipline that aims to combat the phenomenon of doping through education, prevention and repressive sanctions of the unsportsmanlike phenomenon of the use of doping is reconstructed.
