The chapter “The Contribution of the Department of Industrial Engineering to the Teaching Activities of the School of Engineering: Historical Notes” traces the evolution of the Department’s educational offerings within the School of Engineering, from the origins of the Faculty to subsequent higher education reforms. Through the establishment of new degree programs, adaptation to regulatory changes, and the strengthening of ties with industry, the Department has played a key role in educating generations of engineers and in fostering the cultural and technological development of the local territory.
