The 16th-century property belonged to Scipione de Curtis; it was acquired in 1622 by Scipione Cacciuottolo and then passed to his son-in-law Diego Moles around 1650. Inherited in 1675 by his son Francesco, the first Duke of Parete, the estate underwent significant improvements over the course of the following century. Acquired at the end of the 18th century by Caracciolo of S. Teodoro, the property was taken over by the Figlie della Carità at the end of the 19th century, and annexed to their Casa Centrale.
