This contribution aims to present the initial findings of an evaluative research study conducted as part of a network project for the promotion of bio-psycho-social well-being in later life, titled “Corpo e Salute: mi muovo, mangio bene, vivo meglio”. The project targets individuals over the age of 65 who are at risk of social isolation and reside in a neighborhood of the city of Bologna. The results from the first phase of the research allow for an exploration of the experiences and perceptions of the participants in this educational path – all women over the age of 70. The reflections gathered shed light, from a situated perspective, on the educational effectiveness of the practices implemented and the pedagogical value of contexts capable of welcoming, supporting, and regenerating the existential journeys of older adults. The aim is to contribute to the pedagogical debate on education in later life, demonstrating how local experiences can offer concrete and transformative responses to the challenges posed by an ageing population.
