This project adopts a socially oriented approach, envisioning an innovative role in addressing the needs of older adults and assuming collective responsibility for the common good. The focus is on the urban area of Cosenza-Rende, which is marked by a lack of community spaces for adults and a significant shortage of services for vulnerable individuals – particularly older adults experiencing critical situations or involuntary isolation. Existing services are mainly directed toward those who have lost their autonomy, often passive and primarily healthcare-focused. The project aims to contribute, through innovative actions, to the development of an operational plan for active ageing, addressing functional and digital illiteracy, and advocating for lifelong learning as a right accessible at any age.
