La cura dei soggetti fragili attraverso l’arricchimento dell’offerta formativa dei CPIA

  • Giovanni Di Pinto

This contribution aims to present a project, currently still in an embryonic phase, designed to promote the social inclusion of vulnerable adults by enriching the educational offer of the Provincial Center for Adult Education (CPIA) in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani. The presence of NEETs, combined with the phenomenon of skill mismatch, calls for an intervention tailored to the educational needs of the local area and a genuine understanding of the skill requirements of the adult population. Based on an analysis of the local context in which the CPIA BAT Gino Strada of Andria operates, and of its stakeholders – conducted in collaboration with the Chair of Experimental Pedagogy at the University Mercatorum – the state school for adults intends to pilot a curriculum responsive to the needs of a special user group. The training offer being proposed is an innovative one: through a synergistic alliance with other educational agencies, it aims to draw the attention of disadvantaged groups and provide them with a new opportunity.
