This paper outlines the past and ongoing activities of the Auser Volontariato Campi Bisenzio Association, tracing its development from its founding in 2007 to the present day, with particular attention to completed and current projects. The Association’s initiatives primarily focus on lifelong learning, including educational programmes for local schools and personal support services. All activities are offered free of charge for the benefit of members and the wider community of Campi Bisenzio. The Association’s objectives see volunteers actively engaged in promoting civic participation; fostering solidarity through fund-raising initiatives; encouraging social interaction to counteract loneliness and isolation by means of discussion groups, opinion exchanges, and convivial gatherings; and finally, promoting social tourism through group trips and summer holidays.
