This contribution offers a reflection on the participation of the Udine CPIA (Provincial Centre for Adult Education) in the “Premio Paola Schiratti”, promoted by the Association Le Donne Resistenti APS, in Udine. The Prize was established to promote within schools a methodology of investigation grounded in oral history and the collection of interviews, data, photographs, and documents related to women’s history. In the 2024/2025 academic year, the initiative was extended to include adult learners from the CPIA. The project undertaken by the Gemona del Friuli branch involved the collection of video interviews which, adopting an autobiographical approach, brought to light the intergenerational and intersectional dimensions of contemporary historical dynamics. The involvement of unaccompanied foreign minors as interviewers enabled the development of linguistic and digital skills, as well as the acquisition of civic competencies and cultural awareness – key elements for fostering democratic coexistence within cohesive and inclusive communities.
