In the context of contemporary longevity, the phenomenon of Universities of the Third Age is becoming increasingly prominent. This paper briefly outlines a long-standing experience of intervention and research in this field. Drawing on concepts, theories, methods, and techniques from psychology, it highlights the practical value of culture. Teaching, learning, education, and training have a positive impact on the third and fourth ages, generating clear benefits for both individuals and society, with particular emphasis on broadly defined health and well-being.
