This text has been developed from teaching experience. Aimed at those approaching organisational analysis for the first time, it is intended as a guide to help them to get their bearings in the complex area of analytic forecasts and management practices.
After an initial introductory chapter which presents a grid for analysing the different organisational perspectives that have emerged since the start of the twentieth century, the text examines the various phases of development, broken down into four chapters: Organisations as formal structures; Organisations: individual strategies and group dynamics; The dialectics of organisation and environment; The grey area of organisation between change and identity: the shifting economic situation and elements of continuity. An extensive bibliography provides the basic sources for each section.
