At a time when the international political situation seems to undermine the very discussion on DE&I language policies, it is urgent to dwell on five arguments often brought up in the debate in opposition to the inclusion movement, acknowledging their lack of reliability and scientificity. Although it is very difficult to debunk them in hindsight, the hope is that providing the most correct information possible can serve to build tools to defend oneself from argumentative fallacies on this topic.
