Gli studi linguistici

  • Francesca Ditifeci

The purpose of this study is to reconstruct the course of linguistic studies at the School of Political Science “Cesare Alfieri” from its beginnings to the present day. Starting from the birth of the institution by the Founding Fathers, first and foremost Carlo Alfieri di Sostegno, in 1875, for whom the linguistic component as a whole is essential and inalienable in the educational process, we arrive at the present time with new challenges presented by Artificial Intelligence with its Large Language Models. The hope is to recover the importance of the word, as an exclusive element of the human being, as a tool for dialogue, understanding and construction of the polis, not only as a tribute to its history, but also as a commitment to the future, for a School that continues to flourish and illuminate the path of political science and society.
