This series was launched as part of the PRIN 2022 PNRR NeaVia. Neapolitan Villa. Antiquities and Nature between Renaissance and Baroque project (Visita il Blog di Neavia), dedicated to the study of the villa in Naples between the late 15th and early 18th centuries. Following the first volumes, which were intended to disseminate the project’s findings, the series is now broadening its scope to include original studies on the villa from antiquity to the contemporary era.
Understood as a complex system of relationships between constructed space, nature and memory, the villa is explored as a central element in the transformation of the landscape and in urban and territorial history.
In keeping with NeaVia’s scientific legacy, the series promotes contributions with a transdisciplinary approach, based on the analysis of archival, literary, iconographic, and cartographic sources.

Authors are invited to submit publication proposals and/or manuscripts to the editors of the series, by writing to the following address: mariagabriella.pezone@unicampania.it

All books published in the series undergo peer review.

The series fully supports Open Access publishing as an ideal tool for sharing ideas and knowledge in every research field with an open, collaborative and non-profit approach. Open Access books allow the research community to achieve a high research impact as well as rapid dissemination in any editorial form.
