This series is presented as the privileged editorial reference for research on transnational cultural and intellectual history in the modern and contemporary era. By adopting a study approach derived from the notion of “global history”, this series includes contributions from seminars, conferences, monographic research, as well as texts and documents, which identify in the topic of “connections” a particularly fruitful object of investigation for historical research. The series is promoted by the Modern Transcultural Studies Research Unity of the University of Florence and fostered by a variety of initiatives, especially connected to the Interuniversity Research Center for Global History Studies (GLOBHIS), the annual Translating Cultures seminar, and other related projects.

Authors are cordially invited to submit proposals and/or full manuscripts to the series editor, rolando.minuti@unifi.it.

All books published in the series undergo peer review.

The series fully supports Open Access publishing as an ideal tool for sharing ideas and knowledge in every research field with an open, collaborative and non-profit approach.
