The aim of this series is serve as a dynamic platform for the promotion and dissemination of scientific research. It features original and unpublished works by members of the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the “Gabriele d'Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara, as well as contributions from external scholars, provided they align with the series’ research areas. The series falls within the field of foreign languages, literatures and cultures while also extending to other related areas of the humanities. These include Italian studies, history, geography, linguistics, language teaching, translation studies, philology, communication studies and audiovisual and multimedia studies. Overall, it embraces the broader domain of cultural studies and all academic disciplines within the Department’s scope. At the same time, the series is characterised by a strong commitment to openness and interdisciplinary dialogue, welcoming contributions from external scholars from both the national and international academic communities. In this way, it seeks to foster the exchange of diverse perspectives and to promote the circulation of knowledge within the scientific community.

Authors are invited to submit publication proposals and/or manuscripts to the editors of the series, by writing to the following address: e.diana@unich.it.

All books published in the series undergo peer review.

The series fully supports Open Access publishing as an ideal tool for sharing ideas and knowledge in every research field with an open, collaborative and non-profit approach. Open Access books allow the research community to achieve a high research impact as well as rapid dissemination in any editorial form.
