This paper analyzes the theoretical dialogue between Paul Sweezy and Hyman Minsky. It examines the financial instability hypothesis and the phase of "Money Manager Capitalism." It considers commonalities and differentiations between the two thinkers, as well as the contribution Minsky’s ideas make to the Neo-Marxian theory that places finance at the center of the system.
