Religioni antiche, domande nuove. Il valore euristico della ‘curiosità’

  • Ginevra Benedetti
  • Francesca Prescendi

This introduction frames the volume around the heuristic value of «curiosity» in the study of ancient and modern religions. Practices and objects perceived as strange or marginal are not treated as anecdotes, but as windows into the cultural logics that produced them. Drawing on anthropological perspectives, the introduction presents «strangeness» as an analytical tool for exploring the multiple ways in which the sacred was experienced and represented.
