The Congregation of the Oratory of the Girolamini can be considered one of the most powerful religious institutions in Naples. Since its foundation in 1586, it has established itself in the city's most lucrative businesses, with its vast real estate and financial assets. The documentary corpus, currently available for consultation in situ, is a valuable tool for studying the religious, social, and economic dynamics of southern Italy. Of particular note is the sub-series “Raccolta Pandette” (Pandect Collection), which includes volume ASG.IV.7.52, a systematic collection of land plans accompanied by technical descriptions, dating from the 17th to the 19th century. This document, together with the larger archival corpus, offers a methodologically relevant contribution to the analysis of agricultural residences located on the outskirts of Naples and to the study of the spread of suburban villas in the Neapolitan context.
