The philosophical understanding of transnational constitutionalism that will be outlined in this chapter aims to develop what can be considered the three facets of its ontological dimension: the legitimacy of the power that underlies this constitutional phenomenon; the necessity of a political-institutional normality; and the definition of a minimum group of universally shareable goods.
