Radioastronomy research at the Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory in Florence has been a major scientific activity since the 1960s. In collaboration with the University of Florence, research focuses on the electromagnetic design and optimization of antennas, receivers, and microwave components for radiotelescopes. These efforts support major international projects such as the Sardinia Radio Telescope, ALMA, SKA, and ESA’s Planck mission.
