I convertitori risonanti, dagli albori alle moderne applicazioni

  • Alberto Reatti

In the late 1980s, research at the University of Florence and industry partner Magnetek focused on high-frequency switching power converters to increase power density. Resonant converters were studied to reduce switching losses by enabling zero-voltage or zero-current switching. This work led to industrial applications and international collaborations and later became relevant again with the rise of wireless power transfer technologies.
